About the assessment
Is the assessment really free?
Yes. There is no charge for the visit or the written plan, and no obligation to buy anything. We do it because people who see the plan for their own property tend to trust it.
How long does the visit take?
It depends on the size of the property. A typical home visit is short enough to fit in a lunch hour; larger homes, businesses and multi-family sites take longer because there is more to walk.
Do I need to be there?
Yes, or someone who knows the property should be. Half the value of the walk-through is the conversation: who comes and goes, which doors get used, and what has worried you.
Will you look at the system I already have?
Gladly. If you have existing panels, sensors or cameras, we test them and tell you plainly what is worth keeping. Sometimes the answer is most of it. See system takeovers.
What do I get at the end?
A written plan listing the recommended equipment, where it goes and why, the monitoring options, and the terms — in plain English, so you can compare it with anyone else’s.
- No cost, ever, for the visit
- No pressure at your kitchen table
- No obligation — keep the plan
